Aiyana and Ayize Ma’at Teach Us About Black Love and Marriage

Black Love and Marriage - The Ma'ats

Hello Fam!  This is the season of giving and love and happiness.  I personally don’t get involved with the hoopla of shopping for gifts and fighting in malls for stuff, but I do love to share the gift of knowledge and wisdom, especially when young black couples are involved.

I recently found this wonderful black power coupleAyize and Aiyana Ma’at,  who are so full of love and wisdom, and they are sharing it with the world.  That’s a beautiful thing, in my book.  They talk about the gift of their love for each other, and the serious business of growing it, protecting it, and nurturing it.  They also are teaching their children self respect and self love, and the importance of marriage.

The Ma’ats have a relationship coaching website, Black Love and Marriage  where they encourage us to “Stop Playing and Start Pushing”!  Black love cant survive unless we are willilng to do just that, and many folks write in to them for advice on how to make it work.  They have over 200 Youtube teaching videos in which they give their love advice as well as show the ups and downs they experience in their relationship and how they resolve them.  The end result is always to teach.

Ayize and Aiyana Ma’at are a breath of fresh air at this sacred time of the year.  They are a beautiful reflection of what black love looks like and once you watch them, I’m sure you’ll agree with me.  Check them out as they show us how they are building their love relationship with each other and with their adorable children.  Click the photos

One thing I notice about Brother Ayize – he’s always giggling in his videos with his wife! Is giggling the right word? When speaking about a brother? OK, OK, chuckling! He’s got a very light spirit, which is a manifestation of joy. He’s got a laugh in his spirit, always bubbling up. He’s got a joyful spirit, which a woman can bring out in a brother if their relationship is tight. It aint easy for a black man to laugh in this society.

Peace to the Ma’ats! xoxo 😀
